Now we are satisfied with the Nigerian Army who acted towards a physically challenged person named Mr Chijoke Orakwu who was assaulted by two military police officers in Onitsha for allegedly wearing army camouflage.

They took action against such by arresting two soldiers who brutalised the physically challenged man Mr Chijoke Orakwu (news) and they also publicly declared that they will not condone acts of indiscipline or gross misconduct by any member. I recalled when i was somewhere in Abuja, i read the speech from General Muhammadu Buhari in London who is now the President of Nigeria on 21st of February, 2015. I can say that it was one of the best speeches i have ever come across. It is a nice message, they remember Black Students, Muslim Students, LGBT Students, Female Students, Latino Students and Undocumented Students but they do not remember Deaf Students.

I came across a recent article that was published on vice.com which was written by a Deaf writer and professor Sara Novic. She talked about Trump's victory as president and the way it would affect the Deaf Community negatively, her article titled "why Deaf Community Fear President Trump". She was interviewed by DPAN reporter named Kriston Pumphrey. She explained in the video why she wrote the article.
