SHELL SCHOLARSHIP opportunites for High School Seniors, Associate's Degree Students and Bachelor's Degree Students in USA


HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
The Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship and Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship have been created to provide financial and career assistance to graduating high school seniors who have expressed an interest in the energy industry and demonstrated an aptitude in mathematics and science.

In each program, Shell will sponsor up to 20 one-year awards of $2,500 for selected graduating high school seniors enrolling in engineering or geosciences at universities identified by Shell.  Upon successful completion of first year studies and other criteria established by Shell, the recipient may be eligible to apply to receive a four-year renewable award of $5,000 annually.

ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE STUDENTS
The Two-Year Associate and Technology Scholarship is available to students who seek an education to obtain employment in the industries that use and control mechanical, physical or chemical processes to produce or move a final product and includes other technical disciplines (as listed below).

Compressor/Compression Technology
Electrical/Electronics Technology
Industrial Maintenance Technology
Industrial Marine Electronics Technology
Instrumentation/Analyzer Technology
Machine Tool Technology
Machinist/Mechanical Technology
Marine Operations
Petroleum Technology
Process/Production Technology
Welding

There is a two to three-year time limit to complete the Two-Year Associate and Technical degree programs and a maximum total of $2,200 available for each individual scholarship awarded. Funds must be distributed within two to three calendar years from the date of the scholarship award. To apply here.

BACHELOR'S DEGREE STUDENTS
Shell Oil Company offers $5,000 annual scholarships through the Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship program to underrepresented students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a specific technical field of study at certain colleges. The scholarship can be used to pay for tuition and/or school expenses.

If the necessary criteria are met, a student’s scholarship may be renewed up to four years or until Bachelor degree requirements are met, whichever occurs first. Scholarship recipients are notified during the summer following their application. Renewal of the scholarship is contingent upon the student remaining qualified.
